Sport meets sport: Di Francisca and Brignone, Di Costanzo and Goggia take the lead in a new way of communicating and experiencing sport. The Cortina World Cup is the scene of an innovative sporting message: on 28 and 29 January, Rio 2016 Team Italy is on the slopes of Cortina d’Ampezzo to work alongside the Italian athletes involved in the fast competitions on the Olympia delle Tofane slope. It is the latest project from Team Italy, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) and the Cortina 2021 Foundation.

Sport meets sport is an ideal relay (photo Messelani-GMT) which, through sharing, building, passion and emotion, will lead the way to the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games and the Cortina 2021 World Championship, organised by the Cortina 2021 Foundation. Elisa Di Francisca is leading the Rio 2016 Team Italy athletes: Marco Di Costanzo, Marco del Lungo, Christian Presciutti, Nicholas Presciutti and Alessandro Nora, Sofia Lodi, Francesco Fossi, all ready to support their skier colleagues. It is not only about belonging to the same sport, but about having a single identity: I AM TEAM ITALY.

It is a course that will bring together the greats of Italian sport and their supporters, and the different worlds of the summer and winter Olympics. The Italian Olympic Team will involve everyone in a shared experience. Contact with the public is at the heart of the Italian Olympic Team: sporting heroes meeting their fans.
