With the formalisation of the teams for the next season of competitions that will culminate in the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, World Cup alpine skiing teams are back at work.
In the past few days, the athletic director Massimo Rinaldi has called some of the group 1 and group 2 team members together for an evaluative test at the Sport Service Mapei in OlgiateOlona (VA).

These members included Guglielmo Bosca, Emanuele Buzzi, Mattia Casse, Peter Fill, Werner Heel, Dominik Paris, returning member Matteo Marsaglia, accompanied by athletic trainer Giuseppe Abruzzini. The skiers then moved to the Formia Olympic Training Centre, where they will remain working until Sunday.
The Blues ski team also took advantage of the trip to make a ‘visit’ to the Italian Open and attend the presentation of the Samsung Smart Fitness project, arousing the curiosity of fans present at the Foro Italico in Rome.

Likewise for the women's speed skiing team, who did the tests at the Sport Service Mapei on Wednesday 17 May, later moving to the Formia OTC where they will remain until Wednesday 24 May. At the centre are Nicol Delago, Verena Gasslitter, Laura Pirovano, Johanna Schnarf, Federica Sosio, Verena Stuffer, with the addition of Marta Bassino and technicians Damiano Scolari, Luca Scarian and Marcello Tavola.

On Monday 22 May, it will be Sofia Goggia and Francesca Marsaglia’s turn to take the tests, assisted by technician Davide Poncet. On this same day, some athletes of technical disciplines will also be busy training: Luca De Aliprandini, Florian Eisath, Manfred Moelgg and Tommaso Sala. They will be joined by their athletic trainer Andrea Viano.
