The President of the FISI, Flavio Roda has selected the freestyle teams for the coming 2017/18 season. The two groups - slopestyle and skicross – are under the orders of reconfirmed team manager, Cesare Pisoni. Making up the slopestyle ‘A’ team are Igor Lastei, Christof Schenk, Ralph Welponer and Silvia Bertagna, who last season took three medals and was runner-up in the big-air general ratings, a speciality which will not be featuring in the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games. On the snows of Korea in fact, the Italians will only be taking part in: Moguls, Aerials, Halfpipe, Slopestyle and Skicross.
Members of the skicross group, on the other hand, are Stefan Thanei, Siegmar Klotz, Andrea Tonon and Debora Pixner.
