Biography
He was born two months early as he already then was in a hurry to experience life. He has been skiing since he was three: he was the smallest of them all, but when he won he felt just as tall as all the other children on the podium with him. Then he grew up, but his desire to excel has remained intact: so much so that in 2017 he finished second in the super-G at Kitzbuehel despite a fractured fibula. Olympic silver medallist in downhill and bronze in super combined in Sochi in 2014, the champion from Gais also holds a world title in the super-G, a silver world championship medal in super combined and bronze in downhill ski obtained in Garmisch in 2011. A lover of hiking, cycling, fishing and mushroom picking, he's also drawn to the stock exchange. An Olympic gold would no doubt be a good investment.
