Biography
He started practising athletics as a child, establishing himself on the national stage. Then, in 2010, the technical director of the Italian team, Antonio Tartaglia, saw him as a potential member of the Italian team and convinced him to switch to bobsleighing. In 2014, he competed at the Sochi Olympic Games, placing 18th in the four-man bobsleighing event. Four years later, the Italian brakeman will try again on the PyeongChang track. On the Island of Elba, you might be lucky enough to see snow once a year, but everyone will definitely be watching the television to support the Portoferraio native.
