Biography
She is engaged to fellow-athlete and world champion sprinter Federico Pellegrino, but above all is one of the great promises of Italian cross-country skiing. Up until she was 10 years of age, she had three favourite sports: alpine skiing, gymnastics and cross-country skiing, which eventually prevailed over the other two. Born in Ivrea but raised in Valle d'Aosta, in Gressoney, she has managed to combine sport and education by attending a private school for the last two years. Her idols are Arianna Follis and Kikkan Randall of the USA, and her motto is "never give up."
