Biography
He learned to ski on the slopes of his home town, Pozza di Fassa, but has only dedicated the last 13 years to his love, after leaving ice hockey. His dad, Gino, a carpenter, and Paola, his mother along with his sister Silvia are his biggest fans. But our greatest loves can also bring us deep suffering: as the fourth place in the slalom at the Olympic Games in Sochi that deprived him, for only five hundredths of a second, of a medal that "would have changed his life." Four years later he returns to the gate for the re-match.
