Biography
For this cheerful, ambitious and determined Milan native, the Olympics were written in the stars. Her father Marco was a marathon runner and competed in Moscow in 1980 and Los Angeles in 1984, and she began playing sports aged seven. She became passionate about roller skating whilst on holiday, and then took her passion onto the ice. She achieved excellent results, becoming an Italian multi-champion in the individual event; however, after Sochi 2014 she decided to compete as a pair with Hotarek. A citizen of the world, she takes cooking lessons from her mother via Skype, she studies sport science, and has recently been granted a cinematic side job, working as a body double in an Alessandro Siani movie.
