There is no ice, or even snow, and yet there is a bit of PyeongChang 2018 at the 2017 CONI Kinder+Sport Trophy in Senigallia. It’s thanks to the Olympic Torch that Samsung has brought over 3100 young athletes to Marche to live out their Olympic dreams.

Representing the Italia Team champions who will head to the Olympic Games in Korea in February is ice skater Valentina Marchei, who secured her place in the nation’s artistic pairs team alongside Ondrej Hotàrek after setting a new Italian record with 203.93 points at the World Figure Skating Championships in Helsinki.

Marchei talked to the young athletes about her ice skating journey and how she felt at Sochi 2014, answering their questions and queries. A kind of relay, in front of the Torch, between the champions of today and those of tomorrow.
