The FISI  has officially announced the members of the national ski jumping team for the 2017/2018 season, which will culminate in the PyeongChang Olympic Games. Confirmed as team manager is Sandro Pertile with Lukasz Kruczek as head coach of the men’s team and Janko Zwitter as head coach of the women’s team. Little has been changed in the two teams with Manuela Malsiner who – thanks to the results achieved last season, including a second place in the World Cup and the world junior championship title – passes up to the ‘World Cup A team’, while Elena Runggaldier slips into the ‘A Team’ where she finds Lara Malsiner. Among the men instead, confirmed in the ‘A Team’ are Alex Insam and Sebastian Colloredo. Up from the ‘B Team’ is Davide Bresadola.

Now the teams have been put together, the first Olympic season training sessions begin. The A group and men’s aggregated team will be based in Tarvisio. Pertile has convened Sebastian Colloredo, Davide Bresadola, Alex Insam, Roberto Dellasega, Federico Cecon and Zeno di Lenardo for the meeting to be staged between Sunday 21st and Thursday 25th May, during which the athletes will perform a series of jumps from the ski-jumping hills of Villach, in Austria, and Planica, in Slovenia, which are only a few kilometres away from one another. They will be accompanied by head coach, Lukas Kruczek and coaches Ivan Lunardi, Daniele Giacomelli and Andrea Morassi.
