Biography

When he was three, he already had downhill skis on his feet. It was his instructor, Carla, who taught him the ropes and in the spring of that year he had already taken part in his first race. In fourth grade he left downhill skiing to embrace cross-country. He first donned the Italian blue colours to represent his country in late-January 2011, at the World Junior Championships in Estonia. On 8 March, 2015 in Finland, he won his first victory in the World Cup in the 15 km classic technique, the first Italian triumph after that of Albarello 22 years ago. His muse and teen idol is Arianna Follis. He likes spending time with friends and listening to music.
