Biography
The great niece of the movie star Gina Lollobrigida inherited her passion for skating - initially roller staking, through which she has won nine world titles - from her father Maurizio, who has won several medals and records in the 50 kilometres, in addition to being her technical point of reference. With skating in her blood, it is true that she put on skates for the first time aged just 14 months. She switched to the ice after the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, precisely to chase after her dream of participating in the Olympic Games. For half the year she lives in the Netherlands, in Heerenveen, the birthplace of speed skating. She loves cycling and, before she devoted herself completely to her passion for sport, studied biotechnology.
