Biography
Having always lived close to the Val di Sole valley, near the ski jumps of the Pellizzano school, he began practicing cross-country skiing and ski jumping, and his former coach persuaded him to pursue a career in Nordic combined. He won the OPA Cup in 2004 and took part in the Turin 2006 Olympics. However, after failing to qualify for Vancouver 2010 he began to believe that he would not achieve better results and, therefore, decided to change to ski jumping, which has always been his strongest sport.
