The Alpensia Biathlon Centre lies in the northern area of the Alpensia 700 Golf Club, without overlapping with the Cross-Country Skiing course. The track caters for circuits of six different lengths up to 4km. Built in 1998 and upgraded in 2007 and 2016, it was the venue for a 2008 World Cup event and for the 2009 World championship.
