The Joengseon Alpine Centre is on mount Gariwangsan in Joengseon county. It is the most southerly of the skiing facilities for the Olympic Games and the only facility in the Mountain Cluster outside PyeongChang county. Construction started in 2014. It has three runs with a maximum altitude of 1,370m and an average slope of more than 31%. The fast Alpine Skiing events will be held here (Downhill, Super-G and Alpine Combined).
