She started skiing when she was just two years old, following in the footsteps of her dad, Norbert, ski instructor, and her uncles Oskar and Karla Delago, for years members of the national team. The passion for skiing is a real family matter, and being born close to the Saslong ski run in Val Gardena has only fuelled it all the more. When not involved in her sport, she spends her free time with friends and family. After a first full season in the World Cup, she will try to fulfil her dream of winning an Olympic medal at her first attempt. Age is in any case on her side.
