Biography

He retired from football aged 13, after playing as a midfielder at Stuoie Lugo for several seasons, and switched to athletics, first taking on the 1000 metres, then long distances and, ultimately, due to knee problems, the sprint. His trophy cabinet contains a bronze medal from the European Junior Championships in Rieti in 2013 and a silver medal from the Under 23 Mediterranean Championships. The sprinter, who clocks 10.33 seconds in the 100 metres, is ready to push the Italian team’s bobsleigh at the PyeongChang Olympic Games.
