Biography
The Italian athlete from Villanders started at six years old, at the invitation of his mother, who did natural track luging, a sport that is typical of his area, and he immediately fell in love. Advancing through the youth categories, he took part in the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck in 2012, where he won the gold medal in the doubles with Florian Gruber. Following various successes at the Junior and Under 23 level, the Italian duo is challenging the ‘grown ups’ on the PyeongChang track. His good luck charm is a “high five” before setting off. In his spare time, he likes riding his motorcycle and bike, taking trips and climbing, and his dream is to represent Italy at the Olympic Games in Korea. And, as we know, sometimes dreams do come true.
