Biography
It was his grandmother Libusle - now his biggest fan - who introduced him to the magic of the ice. He has competed for Italy since 2006, lives in Milan with his wife Anna Cappellini, and trains in Bergamo. His current partner is Valentina Marchei: after a long partnership with Stefania Berton, he had planned on ending his competitive career at the age of 29 in order to concentrate on teaching. Today he is pursuing new achievements. He likes to cycle around and loves the colour red, which is also the colour of his bike. Bright and outgoing, he can often be seen in a shirt, bow tie and braces, like an ice-skating hipster.
