Biography

Giant slalom, super-G, downhill, combined: the first Italian skier in history to be on the podium for four different ski disciplines in the Alpine Ski World Cup and to have obtained 13 seasonal podiums, outdoing superstars like Deborah Compagnoni. After a long series of injuries that, in the long run, taught her to grow, the 24 year old from Bergamo, who also holds the record for points conquered in the Cup within a season, is poised to reach new strong goals backed up by the bronze won in giant slalom in St. Moritz 2017. While in Korea, the skier dominated the Test Event and found her first two victories in the World Cup; now she aspires to become an Olympic “graduate” (her dream since she was six years old) to no longer be the "black sheep" in a family of college graduates (her mother is a Literature Professor while her father and brother are engineers). Her colorful lingerie pieces (which for luck purposes vary depending on the discipline) are already in her suitcase. Go-go-Goggia.
