Biography
Snow is his natural habitat, the extension of his passions. He was born with a snowboard under his feet in Val di Funes and snowboarding soon became his favourite sport. He was only nine when his sister loaned him her board and he started to enjoy himself, prompted by the desire to follow in the footsteps of future coach, Erich Pramsohler. The world title, won in 2015 in the parallel slalom at Kreischberg, made him a bright star in the international firmament. Between 14 and 20 years of age, he worked as a joiner, in love with alpine skiing. Whenever he can, he goes to Sellaronda and has an attraction for Japan, due to the particular consistency of the snow in that country. His idols are Reinhold Messner, Michael Schumacher and Felix Baumgartner.
